Farmhouse of the Rauchstube type

| The Vierseithof and Dreiseithof farmhouse types are very widespread in Eastern Styria.
The Vierseithof type is a completely enclosed unit.
The Dreiseithof type usually consists of three single-storey tracts which surround a farmhouse courtyard. The courtyard is screened from the road by a wall with a gate.

| The Gruppenhof type too can be found in this region. Farms of this type consist of several buildings with different functions.
